Today me and the little one decided to have some mommy and me time! Our day began at 151 Main for lunch although we probably could have settled for Jack in the Box...then we headed over to Freedom Park.
That was our first time there and I was very impressed. The park itself was beautiful and very relaxing!
Kennedy didn't take too well to the swings, which is probably do to the fact that it was 90 degree's outside and the swings must have been 100! Her poor booty was a tad hot :). She still has some adjusting to do to walking on unfamiliar surfaces such as grass.....she wouldn't move an inch without me holding her hand!
I've been planning this party for months now! (maybe even since Kennedy was in my belly) and it was so worth the hard work. With that said, birthday's number 2-15 will be spent traveling! Planning a part is a lot of hard work!!!!!! And although Kennedy' won't remember any of it, I'm just glad that she'll have the photographic memories to look back on when she gets older. It's just too bad my little princess couldn't stay up long enough to sing happy birthday! After a 15 min power nap and 3/4's of the way through opening up the gifts she was back to her usual self and actually got to enjoy playing with her toys!
